She further added that in seating at the Spanish Steps, she was confronted by a police officer. She realized that it was prohibited to sit there and posted an apology to the officer. Angelica was glad though that she was able to have at least one photo on the steps taken.

A netizen said that last year, sitting on the steps was still allowed unlike now. Another netizen said that they were also confronted when they sat there. According to reports, violators will be charged with 400 euro if they’d be caught sitting on the steps. Most of the time though, those seen sitting on the steps are just confronted and not asked to pay the fine
