Many people are not aware though that Queenie Padilla is not the eldest daughter of Robin. It’s Camille Garcia whose mother, Leah Orosa, was Robin’s leading lady in his movie, Sa Diyos lang Ako Susuko in 1990. Leah was a beautiful mestiza star who was just about to try her luck in showbiz when she got pregnant with Camille. Leah left the Philippines when she got pregnant and decided to live in the U.S. and later on got married to Antonio Garcia; a non-showbiz guy. She has four other children with her husband.
Despite the distance, Robin remained close to his daughter. Camille would visit her father whenever she’s in the Philippines and the netizens often see the father and daughter exchange sweet messages on Instagram. Robin is very proud of his eldest whom he says took after him. Camille is an aspiring actress and model.
She’s still based in the U.S. After not seeing her father for four years, she surprised him during the Christmas of 2014 by paying him an unannounced visit. She planned the surprise visit through the help of Mariel Padilla who is Robin’s present wife. It’s obvious that Camille is also close to Mariel as she calls her “fairy stepmom”.
