The late actor died in his sleep on March 29, 2002. On March 28, 2002, Rico prepared food for his friends for the first time. It turned out to be a long night for the group. He slept at around 2:00 am on March 29. Sadly though, he never woke up again. He died from acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis. His friends said that they heard him moaning at around 6:00 am that day but they thought he was just snoring so they didn’t dare bother him. His friends were trying to wake him up around 9:00 am and it was then they realized that their friend was already dead. Rico Yan was just 27 years old when he passed away.
