Delivery Rider Wearing Taped Shoes Received a Brand New Shoes From His Customer

Online selling is a trend today. Many are going crazy especially if the online shops are on sale. With just one click, you can purchase your favorite item online and you just have to sit back, relax, and wait for the package. Today we will feature an inspiring story of a couple who are both online sellers and their hardworking delivery man. Many people online were touched by their stories.

Many places in the Philippines are still under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ). But that wouldn’t stop one delivery rider from working. He still goes around the city to deliver orders purchased by people online. But what is more heartbreaking is seeing this man ride his motorcycle with a pair of old and damaged shoes. He wraps the shoes with scotch tape so he can still use it.

Photo Source: Zhang Wang / Facebook

Online sellers and couple Zang and Mark Wang saw this and decided to give their delivery rider a pair of new shoes. They gave him a pair of their bestseller Nike Air Max 270. This story went viral and many were inspired. Many people online also sent donations and even one gave him a sack of rice.

This hard-working delivery rider works for J&T Express, a logistics company. He often delivers online orders to the couple, Zang and Mark.

Photo Source: Zhang Wang / Facebook

Without any hesitation, they asked the delivery rider his shoe size and gave him the best selling pair of shoes. The delivery rider was very happy with the kind gesture of our inspiring couple.

“Sana napasaya ka namin kuya. Hindi ka na mahihirapan sa butas na sapatos mo.”

“Lesson: Minsan nagrereklamo pa tayo sa kung anong meron tayo without thinking na yung iba mas nahihirapan pa kesa sayo. Na yung mga bagay na meron ka ngayon, pinapangarap palang ng iba sana sila meron din. Kaya dapat, imbes na magreklamo tayo kung anong meron, magpasalamat na lang tayo, “ Zhang posted on her Facebook account.

Two thumbs up for Zhang and Mark. I hope you guys keep on helping and inspiring more people.

Pops’ kitchen may be the room in the house with the most traffic. She shared that she likes to whip up meals from scratch and added that she enlists her sons, Robin and Ram as her taste testers. The concert queen exclaimed eating together is bonding time for them. It also makes her happy when the two likes what she prepares.

The three are foodies. That’s why they like spending time together while eating midnight snacks. Pops said that eating is a way to enjoy life, especially when traveling. She added the excitement of adventure eating.

Going back to her house, the property is a 300-sqm Asian modern house with natural light. Wooden and glass elements are also seen throughout the house. Pops bought this with furniture included. The best part of living there is being at the center of key areas in the Metro.

Her house has an open floor setting. There are no dividers that separate the living and dining areas. These areas are extra spacious. Natural lighting also allows her and her guests a view of the garden.

Pops also placed tall potted plants. The addition makes the living area bright and huge. It also gives a resort appeal.

Pops displays her love of red color by replacing worn-out white leather dining chair upholstery with red fabric. You’ll notice a red sculpture by the console table in her dining room. This complements the red dining set.

Initially, Pops wanted a square dining table. Yet, she decided to use the existing rectangular set when she learned it was from Calligaris which is a furniture store in that area.

As a way to tone down the red color throughout the area, Pops put some glass accessories on display. An abstract wall painting completed the look. Many of Pops’ displays are from her mother, Dulce Lukban. Two of these are painting and sculpture.

As with the kitchen, Pops says it’s a nice area even if she bought the place looking like as is. She is happy that she can serve her sons, food she prepared straight from cooking to the counter. This makes their bonding moments more intimate.

Her kitchen is not only spacious but also well-equipped. There’s a U-shaped island that makes gatherings more thoughtful. She’s got a wall oven accented by black cabinets.

The kitchen also follows the black and red house color. Pops’ bar stools are in red, making meals with her cozier. For her dinnerware, Pops has frosted cabinets above the sink. Yellow lights turn on when she opens the cabinets.

The kitchen and foyer are separated by a blank wooden wall.

Pops stays true to her style. She’s all about class, sophistication while keeping her home comfortable. It’s also nice to know she likes to cook despite her busy schedule.

What do you think of the Asian-inspire house of Pops Fernandez? Please share in the comments.

Will you help someone you don’t know? In difficult times there are some people who will not extend a helping hand without something in return. Yet there are still people that will help someone in need even if that person is a total stranger. It is really nice to hear positive stories of people helping other people in need. In this time of pandemic, many are struggling to survive every day.

Just like Tatay Rogelio Tabangcura of Brgy. Nanerman in Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur. This poor old man is literally living under the roof of his house. Two years ago when his house was damaged by a strong typhoon, he then started to live under the roof, the only part of his house that is still intact. He is also blind and he doesn’t have the money to restore the house so he decided to leave it as is.

He struggle everyday for two long years since he can only sit and lay down when he is inside his “home”. Sometimes his sibling visit him to bring some food but most of the time Tatay Rogelio is left alone.

Netizens Amazed When a Gasoline Boy Dream House is Coming Into Reality

This gasoline boy’s dream house is coming into reality.

What’s your life’s biggest dream? Sounds like a job interview question, right? But many of us can’t decide right away. It seems that it’s a very difficult question to answer. I have asked this question to several people before. Most of them dream of having their own house and lot. Many are still renting a place for their family and they really wanted to have their own humble abode. Who doesn’t want to have a house of his own? I, myself would like to have one day. It doesn’t need to be a mansion, I just want to have a simple yet beautiful house for my family someday.

Igue G. Varra, a 26-year-old gasoline boy earned a lot of praises from people online when he posted his dream house on his social media account. He also included a drawing of his dream house. It has 2 bedrooms, a terrace, bathroom, a simple living room, kitchen, and a dining area.

A total of 22x24ft floor area, he plans to build his dream house in Pampanga. Now he couldn’t believe that his dream is coming true. Just last March 3, 2020, he started building his house with the help of three carpenters. He pays them P500 each every day and with free meals.

He was really happy seeing his dream come to reality. Unfortunately, they had to stop the construction of his house because of the enhanced community quarantine. He spent P50, 000 for the steel trusses and roof materials. He already spent P250, 000 for his dream house.

It’s a huge amount of money for him but it really doesn’t matter if he spent that much since he is building his family a house of their own. Indeed a true inspiration to many people. Your hard work, patience and determination will sure make all of your dreams come true.

This 69-year-old man sells ice cream despite the enhanced community quarantine.

It has been more than two months since the government mandated the community quarantine. Many people lost their loved ones because of the covid19 virus. Many people can’t go home to their families because they are stranded elsewhere. Many people had lost their jobs, the only thing that provides them and their family’s needs. Many people, especially our doctors, nurses, policemen, and other frontliners are struggling because they can’t be with their loved ones.

Amidst the nation’s pandemic issue, there are still people trying their very best to work and survive. A 69-year-old ice cream vendor is still selling dirty ice cream in the streets. Benjamin Gonzalez or Tatay Ben said that he has no choice but to continue selling dirty ice cream even though Manila is under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Photo Source: Facebook / Juan Dela Cruz

He also said that its the only way his family can have something on their table every day. Before selling ice cream, Tatay Ben was a construction worker. But because he can’t always report to work due to financial issues he was terminated and that why he started being an ice cream vendor.

Photo Source: Facebook / Juan Dela Cruz

He went to Manila thinking that he will have a better job there. a netizen posted on his Facebook account a picture of a very tired Tatay Ben. Juan Dela Cruz said on his Facebook post:

“Kaya maiisip mo na lang din kiung gaanong kainit at tirik ang araw na yan sa kanya. Di pa nga e pasan-pasan nya yung ice cream, malamang hindi na kinaya ng katawan nya kaya gumawa na sya ng may gulong para kahit papano ay dumali ang pagtitinda nya.”

Photo Source: Facebook / Juan Dela Cruz

Now Tatay Ben is asking for help to find his siblings, Carolina, Rogelio, and Armando.

Tatay Ben’s only wish is to find and go home to his siblings. I pray that he will get the help he needs.

Despite her grace and dedication to her position, there are still people who belittle and criticized her because of her age. Others believed that she wasn’t good enough to run an office considering her age, not to mention those people who suggested she doesn’t have enough experience to be the head of the town.
