Danilo Barrios or Danilo Bouffard Barrios, Jr. in real life was one of the famous 90s stars. He started as a Streetboys member and had starred in several TV shows and movies including the well-acclaimed movie, Dekada ’70 with the Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos, Christopher de Leon, and Piolo Pascual. He first became known as a member of the all-male dance group, Streetboys. They became famous for doing stunts while performing a dance number.

He eventually tried his luck in TV and movies. His first TV show was the youth-oriented show G-Mik in 1999. He had also starred in the Isko Moreno episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya where he played the role of the Mayor of Manila.

He had also starred in movies such as Yamashita: The Tiger’s Treasure, Lastikman, Magnifico, and Dekada ’70 among others. He had left the Philippine showbiz in 2011 and for several years now, he is enjoying his life away from the industry.

In times of despair especially during natural disasters, the best thing to do is keep your trust in the Lord and know that whatever happens, He will never forsake you. During the October 29, 2019 earthquake in Cotabato City, a grandfather was seen kneeling and praying. A netizen, Jim Bryan Dalida Faeldonia was able to take a photo of the man and he posted it on his Facebook account. One of his children, commented on the post saying that the man’s name is Maximino D. Rubi of Don Carlos, Bukidnon. The old man is going back to Don Carlos when the earthquake happened.

The netizens admired the faith of the grandfather. He was able to show to everyone that when danger comes, the only one that will save you is the power of prayer. Some commented that when everything might seem to be hopeless, God will be there and people just have to keep on believing. Another one said that the greatest shield is prayer so everyone must never forget to keep on praying because it’s one of the supreme weapons that the Lord had given His children.

It can be recalled that on October 29, 2019, Cotabato was hit by an Intensity 6.6 earthquake which had caused millions of damages to buildings and infrastructures. Many people were wounded and there were deaths too. An earthquake is one of the most dreaded disasters that humans can experience.

It comes without a warning and it can hit really hard. It doesn’t only bring damage to properties but more so, it can claim the lives of people. This was her second visit to the institution which is the home of around three hundred senior citizens. The twenty-three-year-old beauty queen is from Talisay, Cebu. Ganados promised the senior citizens that she will be giving them eyeglasses to help them improve their eyesight. This is a fulfillment of her dream for her grandmother who had lost her eyesight.

The beauty queen shared that she grew up with her lola. It had been her dream in the past to be able to make her grandmother see the beauty of the surroundings that she’s able to enjoy and to travel with her too. Unfortunately, her grandmother had already passed away and she’s her angel now; guiding her from heaven.

For the fitting and distribution of eyeglasses for the seniors, she had entered into a partnership with a bank foundation. She hopes that it will be done before she leaves in December for the U.S. for the Miss Universe competition. She’s keeping her fingers crossed in the hope of winning the crown.

Gazini has also asked Manila Mayor Isko Moreno if there is anything else that the center needs. One of the seniors told her that medicine is the top priority because not all pharmacies give a 20% discount. The Php500 senior citizen’s allowance is also not enough to cover for their medicines.

The Beauty queen said that the event will be something that she will remember before leaving for the competition. According to the Director of the Coalition of Services for the Elderly, Emily Beridico, they will be able to reach out to the millennials in having Gazini as their ambassador. Being a beauty queen, she has an edge in influencing young people to help out.

She added that it will be a happy movie as it will feature the stars of both the Kapamilya and Kapuso network. Pokwang revealed that the first time she heard she will be making a movie with Vic Sotto, she really shouted with joy.

The last time she worked with Vic was nine years ago in the movie, “Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak”. Meanwhile, Pokwang is very thankful for being chosen as the celebrity endorser of Regasco LPG which fits her well because she’s always in the kitchen cooking meals for her family.

The Gomez family left their Greenhills property in 2014 to transfer to their new abode in Makati. According to the home’s architect, Jay de Ramos, the house’s theme is modern and casual but with a touch of femininity.
