It’s usually seen in high-latitude regions. It’s a result of the disturbances in the magnetosphere and caused by the solar wind. It emits light with varying complexity and color. The form is also dependent on the amount of the acceleration imparted. It’s a natural phenomenon that many wishes to see but not everyone is blessed to experience.
Kathryn posted a photo of her and Daniel enjoying the Northern Lights on Instagram and it has so far gotten around 713K likes. It has instantly become a favorite on Instagram. Juggling the life of a mother and being a student at the same time is not that easy. This college student from Georgia, U.S.A., is trying her best to finish a degree despite having a baby to take care of. There was one time when the babysitter didn’t show up so she needed to bring her baby to school. Things were going well at first until her professor noticed that she was having a hard time writing while the baby was on her lap. The motherly instinct of the professor must have kicked in so she offered help to her student.
The professor carried her student’s baby on her back so that she can concentrate on the lesson. Her daughter, Anna, took a picture of the kind and unexpected gesture of the professor and this went viral on the net. The professor was later known to be Ramata Sissoko Cisse, assistant professor of biology for anatomy and physiology at the Georgia Gwinnett College located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, U.S.A.
According to the report, the professor said that before the incident; the baby’s mother had already asked her permission to bring her baby to school because she couldn’t find a babysitter. The student had already missed a class at another time and she didn’t want to be left behind with the lessons. According to Cisse, her student was very ambitious and smart and is eager to learn so she agreed.
So, when she noticed that the student was having a hard time writing and carrying the baby on her lap, she then decided to help. She grabbed a clean coat and improvised a baby carrier so she could carry the baby on her back. She carried the baby until he woke up and she fed him with a bottle of milk. Mayon Volcano is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Philippines. It’s well-known all over for having a perfect cone. Tourists going to the province of Bicol would always include a tour of Mayon in their itineraries. It’s located in Albay, Bicol. This active volcano is truly a sight to behold so to speak. It stands at 8,081 ft. so its majestic beauty can be seen up to several miles away from it. The volcano had always been a favorite subject of photographs more so because of its perfect shape.
A few months ago, it again captivated the attention of many because a cloud shaped like an umbrella formed over the volcano and appeared like hiding under the clouds. The photos that circulated on social media were taken on April 23, 2019, at 5:30 in the morning. Onlookers were able to take snapshots of the picturesque view before the clouds covering the mountain broke up. Noli Luna shared a photo on Facebook and it went viral at once. It got over 26,000 shares and around 27,000 reactions.
There’s an urban legend running ever since anyone would remember about the beautiful volcano. It was said to have been named after a princess who goes by the name of Daragang Magayon or a beautiful lady in English. Kapuso star and Youtube vlogger, Heart Evangelista became the target of funny comments from the netizens because of her video showcasing her Hermes Chinaware collection. The wife of Sorsogon governor, Chiz Escudero, has a penchant for Hermes items and as such, even her Chinaware collection is from the famous French brand.
She had featured her collection on her recent vlog titled, “Set the Table with Me”. A cabinet which she calls as her “china room”, holds her expensive silverware, teacups, dining accessories, and plates.
The cabinet is filled with several orange boxes and when Heart opened one of them, she showed off her set of paper placemats from Hermes. A set costs $130 or roughly Php6,779 on the website of Hermes. The paper placemats are disposable but the actress gave a tip on how to prolong its use and this is by laminating them.
The set is already very expensive for ordinary Filipinos but you will be surprised to know that the other Chinaware is more expensive. The teacups and plates cost $115 or Php6,000 per piece. Imagine that!

But this policeman didn’t mind doing so after jumping into the Burnham Park Lake to help recover the phone of someone who’s a total stranger to him. He even did it for free. Andrew Borquil Tanghal, a tourist in Baguio City, dropped his phone accidentally at the Burnham Lake as he was about to get off the boat he was riding.

Tanghal’s phone is very important to him because it’s where he keeps all his prized memories. He so wanted to retrieve it but he was informed that it’s 9ft. deep contains glass bottles and the water is itchy. An old man who was in charge of the boats told him that he can have the phone retrieved for a fee.

This was when the policeman offered to recover the phone. He saw the distress of Tanghal ad he told him that he’d get it for him. Tanghal doesn’t need to pay him anymore. They got engaged in 2014 and are now living together in a magnificent glasshouse in Makati. It’s a three-story house that was designed by the architect himself.
Facade
The house looks so magnificent especially at night because of the dramatic lighting that highlights the glass windows and modern shape. Looking closely at the house, there is a column which is the shaft for the elevator in the house. It makes reaching each floor easily although the couple uses the stairs most of the time.
The architect didn’t want any barrier to hide the house so there’s no gate. He had a security system installed in the house to keep them safe. Architect Onglao added that they will be adding more CCTV cameras to better ensure their safety.

The house is beautifully landscaped with ferns, elephant ears, Buddha belly, and selloums. It also has chesa, mango, and macopa trees. The entrance alone is truly an enticing sight to look at.
Foyer
The foyer is such a welcoming sight to behold. It’s airy and bright as natural lights stream through the glass walls. There’s a huge mirror on the wall facing the front door because the architect doesn’t believe in the Filipino superstition that a mirror facing the door will not be good for the house and the people living inside it.
Living Area
The living room is very airy and bright as it is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling clear glass panels. This also makes the area bigger. The L-shaped sofa, clear coffee table, and rug with a zebra print make the room very comfy. The living area alone is a sight to behold. Several kinds of plants surround the living area.
Besides the seating pieces in the living room is a grand piano. Conrad doesn’t know how to play but decided to invest in one. It adds drama and elegance to the area and whenever there are parties in the house, this can be played by a professional pianist.
Dining Kitchen Area
Just like the living area, the dining has been surrounded by floor-to-ceiling clear glass panels too. It also has an open layout to make the most of the area.
The kitchen is very elegant and filled with white from walls to the seating pieces up to the middle counter. An informal dining area was set up in the kitchen where the owners can have their daily meals.
There are two seating pieces on one corner of the area and a console table with different designs of a lampshade on another side.
The first floor has an open layout where instead of using walls to separate each area, rugs are used to define each spot on the house.
Staircase
The architect had created a modern staircase which highlights a streamlined look. For the railings, clear tempered glass was used, making the staircase look elegantly extraordinary. Just underneath the staircase are two Anita Magsaysay-Ho charcoal sketches which were given to him as a Christmas gift by the late painter.
A spot on the staircase going to the second floor gives a perfect view of the receiving area, foyer, and the living area on the second floor.
Second Floor Living Area
There’s another living area on the second floor. A tufted daybed is placed here together with some round side table and a single chair. It also has some cute and simple floor lampshades.
Den
Zsazsa and Conrad seldom spend time here so this is where the divine diva’s Pilates instructor holds private classes for her. It has several seating pieces in natural color. Decors adorn the shelves on this area and the rug makes the room perfect for the Pilates session of the singer.
Outdoors & Roof Deck
The house is surrounded by different kinds of plants and trees making it all the more homey and inviting. The sight outdoors is truly enticing. The owners or guests can spend eternity just looking at the wonderful sight designed by the architect-owner.
As with all the other parts of the property, the roof deck is also such a pleasant sight and is also filled with enchanting plants. There are several seating pieces and a classic console table which also holds some plants. The Makati skyline can be viewed in this area. It can be a perfect spot to read or just simply relax.
Master Bedroom
The ceiling’s height, according to Conrad, can occupy two floors. The high ceiling in the master bedroom makes the couple’s sanctuary luxurious, regal and well-lit. The bed looks very comfy and three paintings hang over the headboard. Several decors can be seen on the shelves just beside the bed which adds more class and drama to the bedroom.
Different seating pieces occupy some of the huge space where the couple can work and read.
The master bathroom has been installed with his-and-hers fixtures. It is as bright and spacious as with the other parts of the house. There are two shower areas with glass enclosure. A small wooden table and chair are also inside the huge bathroom. There’s a huge mirror on the wall where the sink counter is located.
Elevator

One of ABS-CBN’s biggest stars, Daniel Padilla, is one truly blessed soul. While some have acquired property of their own at the age of thirty or above, this young man had purchased his dream home even before reaching the age of 20. His mother, former Regal star, Karla Estrada is one lucky mother. This is a dream come true for her because, for the past twenty-five years, she and her children had only been renting on different houses. The family’s dream haven is located on a high-end subdivision in Fairview, Quezon City. It measures a whopping 1,000 sq.m and Daniel lives there together with his mother and siblings, Lelay, Magul, and JC. It is a modern Mediterranean style abode by architect Marie-Louie Torres-de Leon. Seeing the house completed was the most exhilarating day in the Kapamilya actor’s life.
Façade
The house looks very elegant and homey at the same time when you’re viewing it from the outside. The landscaping just outside the not so tall walls of the property is very simple yet classy.
Daniel’s Cars
The actor said that he bought the black Dodge Challenger, his dream car, after seeing the Camaro of fellow Kapamilya star, Enrique Gil. The two actors drove around with Daniel’s Dodge Challenger when he was finally able to buy it.
Daniel also has a Polaris 4 x 4 all-terrain-vehicle which he only uses in Subic during off-road trails.
Lanai
Three wooden seating pieces and a swinging bench will welcome guests near the front door. This is an amazing spot to entertain guests or simply while away time.
The main door is made of double patio glass doors that have some wrought-iron details. Colorful tainted glass panels were placed on both sides of the main door as requested by Daniel’s mom, Karla.
Living Area
This area is very spacious. The elegant neutral-toned sofas are made more attractive with the throw pillows which were mostly in red. The sofas are from Philux and right behind the seats are huge windows that were covered with white curtains and a taupe during the time of the pictorial.
Right in front of the living area is an elevated portion where the family can use for meetings with partners and clients. The black tufted seating pieces are from Home Depot. Real wood was used for this area of the house which came from Malaysia.
Dining & Kitchen Area
This area of the house is rustic and very inviting. The 10-seater dining table was purchased from Abubot. This is where the family eats most of the time.
Architect Marie-Louie Torres-de Leon revealed that the archway on the kitchen was not a part of the original design but since mother and son wanted a good number of bricks in the house, she had put up the archway with bricks instead. They were bought from EZ Rocks.
Mahogany wood was used for the kitchen as Carla had requested. She believes that the reddish-brown shade would make the area homey.
Powder Room
To liven up the powder room, the architect decided to install mosaic tiles column. Carla is mesmerized with chandeliers so the room can also be seen with a cute one.
Second Living & Dining Area
Another living area can be seen on the second floor where Carla and kids can hang out together while watching TV or dining together.
There’s traditional dining set on the second floor too where the Queen Mother and her children can have quick meals together.
Master’s Bedroom
The master’s bedroom belongs to no other than the Queen Mother herself. It’s a very cozy bedroom with a 4-poster bed and an upholstered armchair.
There’s a walk-in closet where a vanity mirror can be seen and highlighted by a red chair. The master’s bathroom is just on the other side of the walk-in closet. It has a shower area with glass enclosure and a whirlpool bathtub. The bathroom is very spacious too.
Daniel’s Bedroom
A secret door leads to the bedroom of Daniel. It’s a bookshelf that’s filled with memorabilia of The Beatles. There are also toy figures of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwayne Wade.
According to the Kapamilya actor, the secret door has a security code but also revealed that everyone in the house knows the password.
His room is filled with bricks, stones, and rustic materials. He shares the bedroom with brother and best friend, JC.
Entertainment Room

The Kapuso star said that she opened the online store for her to learn how to run a business but eventually, Kylie discovered the real reason why she had been selling some of her pre-loved items. Just recently, the actress felt that she wants to make her life simple so she had decided to sell her expensive items.

Kylie said it’s about time that it’s about time she shares some of her things and be able to help others in doing so. She had realized that there was a time she was able to survive to live in her car with a bag of clothes only and so, the realization came that she has to downsize her life and dispose of the things that aren’t needed.

Being born poor doesn’t mean that one has to remain that way for the rest of his/her life. Mailyn Esquelito Akoy didn’t allow the obstacles to stop her from dreaming and finally achieving her dreams. Her dad works as a “kargador” and despite having undergone an operation, he continued to work. This inspired the young lady more to pursue college to be able to provide a better life for her and the family. The family went through a lot of hardships. They live in the squatter’s area and have endured a lot of sleepless night when typhoons come because the area they live gets flooded easily.

Even at a young age, she had dreamt of helping her family survive. She always tries to earn even a little amount just so she can help put food on the table. She would even avoid extra-curricular activities in school so she could use the contribution required for the family’s needs. Some of the jobs she did to help the family includes tutoring, making the projects of classmates, chicharon packing, vegetable seller, and even picks up plastic bottles.

She stopped schooling for a year after her high school graduation because her parents can’t afford anymore. Fortunately, she obtained a scholarship from TESDA and took up Computer Literacy at Nuestra Seniora de Candelaria Parish Church in Sultan Kudarat. She, later on, passed the entrance exam at the Sultan Kudarat State University where she enrolled in Bachelor of Arts major in Economics.

She used the money that her mother got from 5-6 which made her dad work harder to be able to pay the said loan. There were times that people would mock her for being ambitious when in fact; her father was only a “kargador”. For her graduation message, Mailyn said that even if she didn’t graduate with honors, she’s proud to say that she didn’t give up and will never be ashamed to say that her father is a “kargador”. The Legaspi family opened their house in Pasig City so the public might be able to see their wonderful household. During one interview in Yes! Magazine, Zoren said that he and his wife, Carmina Villarroel imbibe the jolly nature of their twins, Cassy and Mavy. They treat their kids as friends. Regarding their house, he said that the beauty of their house is beyond aesthetics. The beauty of their house is not in its physical aspects but on the energy that goes inside it. Zoren said that he told the twins that a house can never be home if there’s no room for communication. The harmony in the house depends on how they treat each other. Carmina also said that they just want a super happy family.
Their house is very cozy and warm. They didn’t hire the services of an interior designer for the beautification of their house. Carmina loves to collect home magazines so their living room turned out to be like a home journal.
Receiving Area
The area is filled with neutral-colored seating pieces including the hammock sofa. There are two sets of a sofa; one near the staircase and the other one is beside the door together with the hammock sofa. There’s a black center table which holds some décor pieces.
Den
The area is filled with an orange color and it has gray seating pieces. An entertainment system is placed on the wall. The area is quite dark making it appealing for movie bonding time.
Mavy’s Bedroom
Mavy’s bedroom is a typical boy’s room. The walls are colored green and yellow. Beside the bed is Mavy’s space for his computer. On top of it and the bed is the shelves where some of his toys and CDs are stored together.
Cassy’s Bedroom
The bedroom of Cassy, if you’ll notice, is a reverse of her twin’s room. It has the same placements as the shelves on the other room. It is a typical girl’s room painted in pink and yellow. It has lots of dolls and stuff toys along with other girly stuff.
Master’s Bedroom
The room is spacious and cozy. It has a king-sized bed and a wide-screen TV. It’s a simple room and the dark-colored floor gives a dramatic look to the bedroom.
Attic
The attic was turned into a closet and shared by the couple. This is where they store their clothes, bags, and shoes.
Garden
They have a beautiful garden where they can bond together to have breakfast and talk about their plans for the day.
