Erwan Heusaff showed the netizens how supportive he is of his wife, Anne Curtis. Anne Curtis’ latest movie with Marco Gumabao got a lot of bashing from the netizens because of their love scenes. Erwan replied to the bashers in a classy way; making it clear to them that if they have a problem with the love scenes of his wife, he doesn’t have at all.
Anne Curtis and Marco Gumabao got into an adulterous affair in the movie, Just A Stranger. Anne plays a married woman who fell in love with a much younger man played by Marco. The storyline of the movie is about infidelity and it required a lot of love scenes.
Thus, the netizens bombarded the actress with nasty comments like actors only care about money and that they don’t care about their dignity. They said that once a woman is already married, she shouldn’t allow any other man to touch her or go near her body. People aired their dismay over Anne’s sultry scenes as if they are in the shoes of her husband, Erwan.
After several comments were thrown at Anne, Erwan stepped in. He said that as far as he knows, he is the husband and he’s in control of his feelings. He doesn’t agree with the netizens about the disrespect comments or those that seem to dictate what a married woman should do. He said that from the day he met Anne, she was already an actress and he had always admired her for what she is.
He added that he never felt awkward while watching her movies. Erwan said that he even gave Anne inputs on how to portray her role. He believes that a marriage will be successful if both partners can keep their identities and continue doing what they want to and to grow as a couple. He noticed too that the netizens were just being sexist about it because if it happened to be a married guy on Anne’s position, there would be no issue at all.
