These plates with classic designs went viral online when a Facebook page posted pictures of it. The Batang Pinoy – Ngayon at Noon FB page made many netizens look back and remember their childhood days.
I remember when I was a kid, every summer we get to visit our folks in the province and these plates are always present during mealtime. The plate is a bit heavy since it is made of ceramic or porcelain with pictures in the center of vegetables, fruits, and even a prince and a princess. We call it vintage or old school, and you can’t easily find one today.
Here are some of the things people remember about the vintage plate:
Nakaka-miss talaga iyan. Antigo,” Mercie Arellab Soñalob shared.
Jackie Salcedo Milca also shared: “My mom’s collection!
A story shared by Manolito Pineda:
“Dati marami kaming ganiyan.
