Kuwait Airways is looking for Filipino workers to work in its home country, Kuwait. Kuwait Airways has begun its operation of its Kuwait Airways Terminal 4 and the airline company needs more ground personnel. The airline company is open for the negotiation between them and the country to bring hardworking Filipinos to their country to work. This is despite the announcement of the country that the number of OFWs will be lessened.
The flag carrier of Kuwait needs about 200 Filipino workers. The airline already did a mass hiring last year opening slots for about 400 workers. The job pool consists of cargo operators, technicians, and engineer. There will be an interview from March 15 to 22 for the positions of cargo staff while the interview for airplane engineer and technician positions will open on April 15. The Kuwait Airways recruitment team will be in Manila on said dates.

The positions are open to male and female as announced by Ezz Eldin Al Hasawi, Kuwait Airways Cargo Operations, Cargo Deputy Director. There will be a compensation of Php37,000 to Php59,000 per month for employed cargo department staff while Airplane engineers and airplane mechanics can get Php67,000 to Php257,000. They will also get a free food allowance, free transportation, and free accommodation. Ticket going home after the end of a two-year contract is also free.
There are about 400 Filipino workers working for Kuwait Airways as of now. Greg Alcantara, Filipino Head Waiter exclaimed that he is happy working for the airline company for 27 years because of the benefits and opportunities he gets. His son was also hired by the airline company as a Flying Crew. Teresa Olgado, Assistant Labor Attache of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) reminds applicants to only transact with recruitment agencies licensed and verified by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, POEA.
