GMA-7 star, LJ Reyes shares on her Instagram account one sweet moment with partner Paolo Contis. LJ said that it was an incident when their daughter was having bouts with cough and was reminded she has a partner while raising Aki and Summer. The actress uploaded a photo showing her wearing a crumpled shirt and messy hair. In her caption, she explained that her appearance in that photo shows how she had been feeling during the past weeks and added further that most mommies can probably relate to her.
Summer, her second child, was sick at the time the photo was taken. The child was suffering from cough and cold and that one particular time turned out messy. Due to severe cough, Summer started vomiting, a normal way for toddlers to spit out their phlegm. LJ was carrying the kid and started patting her back to ease Summer somehow. The worried mommy kept on assuring her toddler that she’s just there and it will be ok until Summer vomited her phlegm all over LJ. She didn’t put down her kid even if she had turned so messy. She recalled that her partner, Paolo, convinced her to change her clothes but she opted to stay with Summer until the kid had fallen asleep.
When she finally obliged Paolo’s request to change her clothes, she saw her messy appearance in the mirror and realized at that moment she wasn’t alone anymore. LJ said that she sometimes forgets that Paolo is around because she had been so used in doing everything on her own. The actress felt good that someone is there to take care of her and her kids now. She thanked Paolo for being the partner and father that he is to them and for taking care of them. Addressed to fellow mothers, LJ said that it’s ok if they won’t be able to look good as long as what they’re doing is for the family. That they may have different journeys in life but at the end of the day, their goals for the family especially for the children are all the same.
Paolo replied to her post by saying that there’s no need to thank him because it’s his duty and loves doing it. The couple announced in August 2018 that they are expecting their first child and in January 2019, they welcomed Summer. LJ has an elder son, Aki, with ex-boyfriend, Paulo Avelino.
