Almost everyone dreams to live in a comfortable house to call your own. However, for a typical Filipino earner, owning a house and lot is not that easy. Only a few can afford of purchasing a piece of land and put up a desired design of a house.
As what others say, you cannot judge a book by its cover, and in this particular story, you can say that don’t judge the house by its external appearance after it became viral on social media.
John Paul Cortes Lamoste, the user of a Facebook account that posted photos of their house that went viral because of its unique beauty that surprised a lot of netizens.
From the outside, the house is half-concrete and half made of a material similar to a ‘sawali’’. It really looks like a typical house in a province. But on the other photos, the house was actually a fully-furnished modern designed house.
The floor is made of elegant tiles in the shades of blue, the comfort room and the other parts of the house are evenly lighted that creates a feeling of space and comfort when you enter into it.
Comments flooded the post showing people’s admiration and awe with the house’s beauty. They call it “bahay kubo with a twist” because it resembles like a nipa hut on its exterior but with a twist of design on its interior.
Also shown in the photos was Lamoste’s happiness that they finally have their own house that can give them the shelter and protection in these times.
After all, the presence of the family and the love and harmony within each member is what really matters. You may have the biggest mansion on Earth but if you are not contented and happy with what you have, you would still end up unsatisfied.
Kudos to the Lamoste family that both have that happiness inside their simple but elegant home of love.
