Marine Officer basic Course (MOBC)

Benefits and Privileges

  • 45,668 while on training
  • 52,143 upon graduation
  • additional 10% of basepay every 5 years in the service
  • Free of facilities, medical and dental services

Qualifications:

  • 21-29 years of age
  • Natural born Filipino
  • Not married | No child to support
  • graduate of 4 years bachelor degree (preferably technical course)
  • with height of 5’2 for female and 5’4 male

Opportunities

  • serve as marine officer
  • to study abroad with good compensation and allowances
  • opportunity to avail post graduate studies for free
  • to travel abroad and duties overseas

Marine Basic Course (MBC)

Benefits and Privileges

  • 23,237 while on training
  • 37,264 upon graduation
  • additional 10% of base pay every 5 years in the service
  • Free of facilities, medical and dental services

Qualifications:

  • at least 18-23 years old
  • Natural born Filipino
  • Not married | No child to support
  • Completed the K-12 or at least 72 units in college (preferably technical course) or TESDA NC2
  • 5’4 in height male only

Opportunities

  • to study abroad with good compensation and allowances
  • opportunity to avail post graduate studies for free
  • to travel abroad and duties overseas

1. How to apply?

2. Kelan pwede mag-apply?
Ans: Our Recruitment office is open only on weekdays. Mondays – Fridays, 8AM – 5PM.

3. Saan mag-apply?
Ans: Philippine Marine Corps, Recruitment Office, Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City
Note: Eto lang po ang Recruitment Office ng Marines, mag-uupdate po kami kapag may mobile recruitment or kung magkakaroon ng Recruitment Office sa ibang area, lalo na sa Visayas at Mindanao.

4. What are the requirements?
Ans:
For Marine Basic Course (Candidate Soldier):
– Must be a Filipino citizen and of good moral character
– Birth Certificate (PSA)
– For College at least 72 units (High School Diploma and Form 137-A and TESDA NCII)
– K-12 Graduate (Senior High School Diploma and Form 137-A)
– For High School Graduate (High School Diploma, Form 137-A and TESDA NCII)
– 2×2 Picture with white background
– Height atleast 5’4″ (Male Only)
– Must be 18-23 years old
– Unmarried and with no child to support
– MUST NOT HAVE any pending CIVIL/CRIMINAL CASE
– Physically, Mentally and Psychologically fit for Military Training
– MUST HAVE NO TATTOO
For Marine Officer Basic Course:
– At least 21 years old and not more than 29 years of age by 01 August of any given recruitment year
– Must be a natural born Filipino Citizen and of good moral character
– Unmarried with no child to support
– Graduate of 4-year baccalaureate degree (preferably technical courses)
– Height at least 5’4 for Male and 5’2” for Female
– Must have no any pending Civil/Criminal Case
– Must have no Tattoo

5. Kelangan bang kumuha ng AFPSAT?
Ans: Lahat po ay dadaan sa AFPSAT, kahit ikaw po ay degree holder or licensed professional.

6. Kelan ang schedule ng exam?
Ans: Pagnakapagparegister na po kayo, ang recruitment office po ang magbibigay ng schedule ng exam sa inyo.
