The Overseas Filipino Workers card or OFW e-Card is for all OWWA members who wish to get their benefits for welfare services, training programs, scholarships, and other benefits from the government agency. This is a free-to-register card for ‘Balik-Manggagawa OFWs’. This is open to OFWs who already completed or still working within their employment contract. This is also for the OFWs who will have the same employers on their next contracts.
Steps in applying for an OFW e-Card online
- Bring all the valid requirements for your application
- Bring your OWWA proof of membership which has the ‘90-day validity from the time of application’
- Bring your passport
- Bring your OEC or exemption number
- Go to the website of OWWA
- Click the ‘OFW e-Card banner’
- Fill out the Application Form for the OFW ID
- Choose where you will claim your OFW e-Card
- Click the box that says ‘I accept the data privacy policy’ and the captcha code
- Click the box that says ‘Submit Application’
- You will be directed to a confirmation page and there will be a tracking number which will appear; take note of your tracking number
- Provide other details and click the box that says ‘submit’
- Go to the OWWA Office of your choice and claim your e-Card
Checking Your OWWA Card Issuance Status
- Visit the OWWA Website
- Fill out the box with your tracking number or passport number
- Add your birthdate
- Click the box that says ‘submit’
