The Social Security System has introduced an online service facility called My.SSS. It is an online service portal that allows all the SSS members to safely and conveniently access their records online.

Using this online facility is a lot easier as you can use your mobile devices. If you have an internet connection you can transact business with SSS anywhere and anytime. You need not go personally to the SSS branch and wait in long queues.

Why Register Online?

The main purpose of SSS online registration is convenience. Through an online portal you can save time and effort doing the transaction such as the following:

  • Access and download membership records
  • Track your contributions
  • Filing of SSS loan applications and other benefit claims
  • View the details of SSS benefit claims
  • Check the loan repayment records
  • Schedule an appointment
  • Report a complaint, ask queries, or discuss SSS-related issues in the online portal

It is essential to register at My.SSS to prevent possible identity theft.

Who are eligible to register?

All members of SSS are encouraged to register and have an online account including the following:

  • Voluntary or self-employed members
  • All employees paying SSS contributions
  • OFWs, household employees
  • Unemployed spouses with a minimum of one month posted contribution
  • Employers

How to register SSS online?

SSS online registration requires you to use Internet Explorer 11. It’s because the portal may not work with Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Here’s how:

1.Click the Online Member User ID Registration page. Answer all the required details and provide the necessary information. There are five options available. Select the information that is registered in SSS.

2.Fill-out all the required field blank correctly in the online form. Make sure to have a pin code by activating your UMID card. After encoding all the details, encode the captcha code in the small box. Then, click the submit button. Once the submission is successful, you will receive a short message.

3.The SSS will check the information provided. If there’s no issue, you will receive an email that contains your user ID and activation link.

4.Activate your online account by clicking the activation link within five days before it expires. Once you click the link you will be redirected to the page where you will create a password. The password must be a combination of eight to 20 digits alphanumeric numbers. The first character of the password must be an alphabet and no special characters included. If there’s no problem with your password, you will be directed to your own My.SSS account.

Make sure to follow the required format to avoid failed registration. Otherwise, you can try another registration option if you failed on your first try.
