What can hinder and stop Filipinos from pursuing their dreams and happiness? Nothing, and not even this pandemic. And nothing can stop two hearts that love and commits to being together for the rest of their lives.
All weddings are special, regardless of how simple or how grand it is. What matters most is the happiness and contentment of what you have. One wedding has inspired many people because of the unique and innovative act that they did during their wedding day.
Instead of riding on a car to the ceremony venue, the groom Roque Tan, shared on social media, “Our simple wedding cart,” a cart not a car that they use in selling balut eggs.
This cart has made their wedding extra-special not because of its glamour but because of the joy and the value of this cart to their lives, and they were making it also a part of their special day, their wedding day.
They were happy and contented with what they had on that day, and the groom even said, “Maging kuntento lang sa mga bagay na meron ka, contentment is happiness.”
The cart they used as a wedding car is their cart when doing their business, which is balut selling. They just decorated it with a few bunches of purple and white balloons to add color and give accent to their very unique “bridal cart.”
“Simple lang pero sapat na, yan ang mahalaga,” Roque added, emphasizing that simplicity and contentment is the key to happiness, even in a wedding.
The couple Sunshine and Roque even had a previous prenup photoshoot using that same cart.
Netizens admired they act of commitment and contentment. Despite the chaotic situation we are facing and the simplicity of their wedding, they do not see it as a hindrance to exchange their wedding vows and give their everlasting commitment to love one another.
